Rheem/RUUD/GE/Richmond 50-Gal. NG Water Htr. AS39841 Thermocuple

This Pre-owned Water Heater Burner Assembly is for 50-Gallon Rheem, Ruud, GE or Richmond brand Natural Gas water heaters and is powered by a Thermocouple (not a Thermopile) that generates between 100-150 Millivolts of electricity when the pilot light is burning that's channeled to the Gas Temperature Control Valve located on the lower front of the water heater. The user selects the desired water temperature from the front dial located on the lower front of the gas valve. This Pre-owned Burner Assembly is as clean as we are able to get it and is ready for installation in a water heater that is a compatible brand that had a burner assembly with the same part # in it originally. We include 4-replacement torque head screws in case you misplaced yours when you removed the prior burner assembly. The burner assembly may have small dings or blemishes however they will not affect the reliability or longevity of the burner assembly. If you are not well versed in water heater repairs, we suggest that you call a licensed plumber to install the burner assembly correctly to insure the safety of all involved. NOTE: If your water heater has a Honeywell/Resideo or a Delta 650 Gas Control Valve, this burner assembly will not work with it. This Burner uses a Thermocouple Powered Gas Control Valve (White Rogers or Robertshaw/Unitrol). It will not connect to a Thermopile Powered Gas Control Valve.
